What I find most disturbing as an Eels fan is that you are so willing to help Manly out this season.

Suity

Go back and read post number 12, before continuing to be a smart ass and answer a few q's I asked you.

Shack should be in first grade, before Casey and daniella.

IF he isn't going to get a run, maybe we should look to release him. It will free up some funds you know.

It's not about helping manly out. Don't forget we did breach the cap in 2011, no guarantees it wont happen for 2012.

It won't free up enough to have any effect
We will still be paying half his contract If not more
If he wants out and manly want him they have to pay full price otherwise he stays put

Unfortunately we arent privileged to figures, so we can only speculate.

Having said that, if they want him, they should be willing to pay the bulk $$$$, if not he can stay put.

TBH, I don't give a shit whether Shak should be playing first grade or not. That's not the subject of this thread.
Go back and read post #3.
That's what I'm reacting to. And it was stoopid. But any chance you can get to bag out Kearney, you do. Post 3 proves it.

Ifreak?

Are you trying to get dumber with every post?

If so congratulations.

Do you understand about these players you mention playing different positions?

I just looked at post 3, and put simply,

I'd be happy to be proven wrong.:lol:

Btw, at least shack agrees with me.

What, walk out on your team mates in a time of crisis?
Jump a sinking ship?
I'd love both you blokes in the trenches with me.

I might go and support Manly next week.

Suity

I cannot understand Lingard, after all one of our greatest ever players, John Simon walked out on the club in 99 to join the Warriors..

I don't see anything wrong in an NRL-quality player who is NOT being picked for his NRL team to want to go and play for another NRL team. Shacks doesn't want to leave the Eels because we're in crisis. He wants to leave because he is not being picked and he thinks his cards are marked.

Talking about 'sinking ships' and 'the trenches' (I know its been a few days since ANZAC day but seriously ...) is just overly emotive nonsense.

Parramatta is Shacks' employer and like any unhappy employee he is trying to get another employer - one that will let him showcase his talents. I think thats fair enough and the rules of the NRL do allow for it to happen. Its just from the perspective of an Eels fan, we can't let him go because we'd lose depth.

As Stagger as pointed out, John Simon did it in 1999. We let Ash Graham go in 2006 and he went on to have a good career with no hard feelings from the Eels fans. We got Scott Donald the same way in 2001. I'd mention Matt Petersen in 2002 but that seems like a crap point to end on.

Shack called the coach a f**kwit. He, therefore, wrote his own script.
Personally, I'd want him out of my club, but, I can also understand that letting him go means that there is a hole left in the squad for little gain other than pride. Maybe SK has taken the professional road and not cut off his nose in spite his face?

Yep, that's about it.

Shacks is also playing for a contract next year, he'll have a hard time impressing other clubs if he's languishing in reserve grade all year so he'd probably want out for that reason too.

He may also have a hard time getting a decent contract when he socially calls his boss a f**kwit.

I'm kind of on the fence about this one. He's doing well in NSW Cup and a few players that have impressed in that competition this season have stepped up and impressed; Paulo and Ryan the obvious mentions.
Should he have been in reserve grade in the first place? I don't think so but any player that comes out on a social network site and publicly abuses their own head coach may as well have written their own eulogy.

This! Manly pay all is contract or he stays put! If he is so desperate for a run, for go his pay at parra and earn a second tier contract with the Beagles. We already are paying for Mortimer at the chooks, if we keep this up half our salary cap will be playing against our team.
