Shane Shackleton signed with Parramatta Eels

PARRAMATTA have signed Roosters forward Shane Shackleton to three-year deal. Shackleton is the first of several players Parramatta have been negotiating with in a large recruitment drive by the Eels.

The promising City representative will play out the season with the Roosters.

The deal will be officially announced at a press conference later today.

Very disappointed we couldn't keep him. Why do we seem to let go of our most promising players and replace them with nuffies?

Shack is a f**king dog who was number one priority re-signing by O'Sullivan and he should spend the rest of the year at Newtown and bring in Ahern. Even his manager said we were tabling an offer in April and he never signed. Funny how that was when he played his best footy and has dropped off since City/Country.

Pros and cons of Wing returning:
Pros:
-Leave souffs mid contract, pinnacle of spiteful revenge
-We need a good hooker

Cons:
-He is judas
-Short term fix to a big problem, and a backwards step into the future.

I'm amazed that your club let Shackleton go. I would of re-signed him and then spent the rest of the year trying to offload Mason.
