That kneeing incident has the potential to dog him for his entire career.
Any slight incidents from now on he may be involved in and he will cop the full brunt from the judiciary.

Yeah, I think the club could do better than to hang on to Birdy. In the time he's played first grade, I really don't think he's shown enough to be retained in my opinion.

Bird should be axed, he risked being shown up as a result of his stupidity and although we dont have a permanent 5/8 I would prefer Gallen instead of Bird, he is useless. Ridell to hooker and Sullivan to 5/8.

There are some players that regardless of their playing ability, I would seriously question my support of the club if we signed them, Riddel is one, Terry Hill was another that I would have walked from the club if he ever signed. Hopoate is another one, add MArk Geyer, Gary Freeman, Craig Field, Rodney Howe, Robbie Odavis, Adam Macdougal, and Simon Woolford to that bunch.,

The club needs to learn from it's mistakes.

A coach with history brought the club to it's knees. For a long time we have kept the club stable by buying good players that are also good men.

Some players are known for trouble following them and causing upheaval.

Riddell has had numerous problems at the dragins, for him to stand out in a club full of idiots should be a very stern warning for our board and coaching staff.

Do not sign him. He and Thompson are two players that ALWAYS are mentioned when there is talk of " player revolt" at the dragins, "senior players" are unhappy with coach etc etc.

Riddell is the main offender and he would bring more stability than worth to our club.
