That’s not where their problems are, $6million in loans, two years of big losses and potentially another big gap from lack of sponsors next year are the big issues. If the $8mill coming this week is correct that will sort them for another year at least. The problem is there cash windfalls are going to cover debt at the moment. Sacking ten staff will reduce costs next year but whose doing the work they were doing?

People talk about expanding and folding clubs like the NRL actually has the ability to pull off such a move successfully.

They have a hard time running clubs they’re involved with. I’d not trust them with safety scissors.
