Barba awesome player, wins a GF the fascists come.

Never charged with anything.

Flanders is very proud.

He has to go elsewhere, remains to be awesome.

Then can come back. Never should have left.

FUNRL

Head stampers, sexual assault, no problem.

Worst kind of would be police yet they persist, and you all agree.

Angry says you all have you head up your arse.

As for Flanno, coaches whateves...sent an email...

Sack him, he is the problem............................................................

But what exactly was Barry trying to achieve? I bet if he had his time again he would do it differently even though he says he wouldn't. Not only is the cl
I don't think Barry deserves credit at all because I really don't believe he did this on his own accord. There were whispers the 3rd parties involved would go the NRL and dob in the Sharks as they had issues with previous Sharks bosses regarding payments.
I also don't believe he "unwittingly" brought down the clubs coach. Someone lead the NRL in that direction because there is no way the NRL could put all the pieces of the puzzle together by themselves.
The whole investigation just seems tainted to me.
Would not be surprised if a pissed Slothfield rang Barry and sad I know everything

Mate, if Barry did this alone then he uncovered more in 5 minutes than Ian Schubert uncovered in what seemed a life time of his tenure as cap auditor.

I mean, how does this make a bloke like Schubert look when Barry Neville Nobody gets a start for 2 seconds and somehow finds what he has.

Could Schubert count, read or use a computer or calculator? Legit question now.

There's something about the Sharks that I cant quite put my finger on. They took a while to find their feet, they have been embroiled in controversy, they grabbed some well deserved glory and have now fallen out of favour............

I've got it, they are the Karl Stefanovic of the NRL.
We didn’t end up with a hot younger bride though.

I think we’re more like those dudes you hear that jag a lotto win and blow it on hookers, build dirt bike tracks in backyards and have nothing after a year.

The broncos and roosters are O J Simpson with what they get away with and the dragons are Studio 10. Predicable/ unwatchable but for some reason always there...

Probably trying to bring some integrity to a club with a recent history of a stinking culture? If he'd ignored it then it got discovered from a disgruntled employee then he could be facing What the Wests Tigers CEO has just experienced, and the club would once again have its reputation fcked. He's drawn a line in the sand which is to be applauded and long term it can only benefit the Sharks after all the shonky Snr people you've had at the club.

About the only post of yours,I actually agree with.It must be Christmas or I am smoking the funny stuff LOL.
I'd rather have a CEO that wants an open and honest and transparent NRL club operation.Something the Sharks have neglected in the past.As have some other clubs BTW.
Hello Melbourne,Dogs,Manly,Titans for starters. That's not making excuses, for the Shark's incompetence.

If the Sharks are crippled financially the NRL would take immediate control of the cash-strapped club, according to reports.

Fines totalling $800,000 were dished out to the club over the Shane Flanagan saga on Thursday, and further penalties are expected once the salary cap breach investigation is completed in January.

These significant hits to Cronulla’s coffers would throw the club’s immediate future into doubt, with the Daily Telegraph reporting the NRL’s considering the relocation of the one-time premiers.

Veteran league writer Dean Ritchie claims the NRL have held “Private talks at the highest level” because the governing body cannot afford for Cronulla to dive into brankruptcy without having a contingency plan.

Perth could take over the Cronulla Sharks, according to reports.Picture: Fox Sports
Ritchie says the option of relocating the Sharks to either Brisbane or Perth has been raised.

Of course, the Sharks - who endured a $3 million loss in 2018 and are currently without jersey sponsors - are confident they can avoid such a scenario, and have reportedly guaranteed two financial injections to keep them afloat in the short-term.

News Corp also understands the next stage of the Woolooware Bay development - based next to Shark Park - will result in another financial boon.

The NRL recently announced it would spend 12 months working on a relocation and expansion strategy

Merry Christmas, Perth Red?
