honestly, if he did say something along the lines of a racial slur, then thats farkn poor.

Can you hear Gallen saying anything?
okay i just watched it. i dont think i've ever seen someone that angry and hurt on a footy field before. poor Mickey. the whole Paea family are lovely Christian boys too so whatever Gallen said it musta been really bad
nope i couldnt hear anything but u can definitely hear Mickey blowing up and saying everything it says in that article. from the look on his face even u can see whatever happened was pretty bad.
Dean Widders after Fletcher's racial slur
never seen Widders get upset at anything till then. you knew something had been said
Yep, very similar reactions actually.Dean Widders after Fletcher's racial slur

yep thats what i thought too. Paea is really even tempered and never blows up so whatever Gallen said it musta been pretty upsetting.
i bet Gallen knows Paea is a pussycat too, he never woulda said it to Dell. he woulda taken his head off!
Gallen should be hung out to dry...
Instead this sh*t will be swept under the carpet and he'll be picked for SOO on monday, possibly as captain (he'll put in yet another dud rep performance as well)
Pfft. Racial allegations aren't like biting. Some players might fake being bitten (by biting themselves), but a player won't fake being racially abused in the heat of the moment.fair enough.
It surprises me though many in the thread are calling for action without any evidence. Im pretty sure a racial abuse allegation would go straight to a hearing , the reason the NRL cant act is becuase there isnt any evidence. Unless Mickey Paea is prepared to act nothing can be done.
that said i would support a big suspension even without paea's testimony if it could be proven.

I think the fact that Paea told Hornby he wanted to make a complaint (before deciding not to go on with it), combined with Paea's remarks picked up on the audio microphones, should be enough for the NRL to charge Gallen and have it go to the judiciary.
And then, even if Paea refused to testify, run the case on the basis of the evidence available. If Gallen gets off, so be it .. even though we all know he was guilty.
I mean, FFS, Gallen pretended he couldn't remember the incident post-match ... I bet he goes to bed tonight and wets his frilly knickers thinking about the look in Paea's eyes.
how can something be swept under the carpet if there is no complaint?
