Been very busy with work and family. I've only seen Sam once (yesterday) since the season ended. I'll be in vegas with a few of them though.

Great chat with Riccio on Sharkcast. His access to the club and what is really going on is unmatched for us common folk. I found the HOF talk super interesting.

I think it depends what type of pod you like .

Sharkcast are probably more fluffy, wont rip and tear due to link to the club.

Fin's Up they shoot from the hip there relation with the club is basically none.

ET pod I couldn't handle.

I listen to a couple of Sunderland pods and its same there the closer to club more cautious they will have go but its when you know the fans are sick of what is happening at the club, and there is more hate against certain clubs, I certainly would like to see sharkcast and Fins up push that.

Have to agree on the ET stand one with Irvine - almost an updated version on the one Sharkcast did a few years back. Great stuff

One thing I took away from it was Fitz spoke to Sam like he was talking to someone he trusted and respected. Like it wasn't condescending or felt like he was in a rush to leave because he had better things to do. He was open, transparent would touch on subjects (ie player developing is it as good as they'll get but, more levels, consistent or going backwards) without shit canning anyone. He could have given a bullshit answer on that one for example just to get to the next question and be outta there.

Imagine Opes sitting down with Sam for 45 minutes in 2003 pre season.

Can't see him liking Friday Night Lights though...
