I would punch my children square in the face if they ever said that out loud.

There are 3 rules in life

1. Get maggot
2. get it out
3. wave it around.

If there is any confusion, refer to rule 1.

I have heard the odd undeer educated westy or country bumpkin say maggot , but i also hear them say berfday. I had no idea that a noun had replaced an adjective in modern slang.

Cronulla look to Carney
BY BRAD FORREST
14 Oct, 2011 03:28 PM

CRONULLA Sharks have emerged as one of the favourites to sign the brilliant but controversial Todd Carney for 2012.
The classy five-eighth, who was released by the Sydney Roosters this season after a number of misdemeanors, is expected to join either the Sharks or the South Sydney Rabbitohs when he returns from holidays on the Gold Coast next week.

While Carney poses a risk off the field, some clubs here and overseas are willing to take the risk for his footballing brilliance, capped by his winning the .

Dally M Medal for the NRL's best and fairest player in 2010.

Should the Sharks sign Todd Carney for 2012?

Well I think it's generational rather than based on locale. I'm not in Qld and have always known the term to be maggotted or sometimes to be pissed as a maggot.

Mind you, I don't care either way. Six of one half a dozen of the other. Pissed is pissed whatever the vernacular and I haven't had a drink for 6 years now anyway.
