Even with injury, he should be better. He lacks confidence in his inside team mate to make the tackle. Also lacks urgency in getting back into the defensive line after making a tackle.

You're right. But Lawrence's lack of faith in his inside men is justified. They've isolated him all year. Which is why he rushes up. He's trying to shut down plays.

His defence is not bad, those on his inside have poor defence, and its usually Benji, Moltzen & Blair.

He is lacking pace & agility.
