Sharks supporters group - who foots bill for damaged property?

Wake up, you can't wreck advertising sidings and think that someone else will cop the bill.

The entire Sharks supporters group jumped on the advertising. 20 or so people getting excited and creating havoc for the security folk who waddled over to keep you contained.

Shame on you.

Who pays for the damage?

Should've got Happy Dragon to run over their f**king heads on his scooter. I gladly would've cleaned the bike when the task was complete.
Then again, it would only promote MORE diving and acting from the scum.

That's an issue between the Scum football club and their supporter group in the strange blue t-shirts...

Either way, someone from Cronulla is paying.

How lame were security last night, BTW?! Stopping people waving flags & blowing horns...

I am very sure that if your fans are merely being passionate and leaning on the fence shaking hands and higging players when the fence gives way to it being constructed poorly and not because of any malicious actions then sharks supporters would not care.

It will cost about 50 bucks to re-revit that fence back to the same sh*t standard it was before.

SS, if we bring down that massive power lines tower at the right angle we could take out the grand stand. I'm afraid we'd be enhancing, rather than damaging Scum Park though.

Green light for Saints fans at Scum Park in 2008!!

Good luck. Cronulla dont have a style of fence that's been there for 30 years. Maybe Mr Iemma & Mr Howard could help you pay for new fencing too?

Only our scoreboard's been there that long! It still works ok though! ;-)

I couldn't make it last night due to family reasons, but I loved seeing my favourite banner, OUST DOUST taking pride of place amongst the Army.
The security leaves a lot to be desired as to it's priorities in policing the crowd.

The fence incident was merely an accident, but there could be a couple of sore neck claims goin in today across the area, that would actually get paid if went to tribunal I would say.

Peter Doust should demand the local police, the ones who arrested the chasers guy, take some action!

Charge em all with malcious damage to that fine example of a fence. Then watch their case collapse as quickly as the aforementioned barrier.

There was " No Malice intent " so no Mal/Damage.

I'm sure the definition of 'malicious' in the crimes act includes reckless indifference. This was clearly an example of reckless indifference as demonstrated by the wild stampede orchestrated by the notorious criminal gang known as the CSSC.

So about $2 per scummer should do it.

Scummer fans celebrating by trashing council property - perhaps in the shire that would be a laughing matter. Some of the wuzzes are even claiming it as a public liability issue after they jumped on the fence. No responsibility. Shame on you.
