Not sure Oates being back is a positive for them.

I reckon this will be a close one. Could see us getting done
Can’t understand why they’re paying $3.15. We have got cashitulation written all over us for this game.
Them 13+ and then some.

Losing to a team with Croft and Gamble as halves is just about impossible. But losing to Canterbury was just about impossible as well....

Depends if the game gets played.

The COViD conspiracy is out to ruin some people's weekend.

The 2 weeks will help them more than us - we were rolling and they were freefalling and their last effort was a complete drubbing to nil and kevvie had told 80 per cent of them they werent wanted. In that time ben ikin has walked in and taken over. Kevvie is worse than no idea. Ikin has told them nobody ia going nowhere, so stability. Ikins also told kevvie to get big names in oates and croft back in firsts so it at least looks like a real team.
All that smart thinking isnt doing us any favours.

But...
Kevvie is till in charge so the blokes who wont play for him...it will be his voice they hear all week.
We should be jumping out of our skins to bust this mob. We are getting guys back so competition for spots us keen.
We are in the 8 and a loss sees us out.

SJs approach will be interesting.

SJ…

The images of him post-Warriors re-signing…

Absolute emotional mess.

That’s bad for us…

TBH - Trindall and Moyza is going to be a hungrier pair…

Covid may play a part in this - punters on the forum in meltdown over anything, but broncos have had two weeks of lockdown fun - booze, maccas and Kevvie’s comedy.
Us by plenty

In regards to SJ, if he lies down it will justify the club letting him go, and he will cop a lot of shit from all quarters.
I personally hope he stands up, like a man should, and show that he does in fact still have what it takes.
Am I wishful thinking? Time will tell.

SJ.
His head is anywhere but with us.
He wishes nek season could start today. He knows we arent winning it this year. He knows he has his future settled. With the club he loves. Who he wants to repay. And not let down.
So he doesnt want to turn up in november needing surgey - that lets them down and jeopodizes his future...so he is in sharon woods mode. Self protection mode. Just get to the end of this year mode. Cant wait for next year mode.
Sitting in the sheds pregame he may think hes prepared but if your heads not in the game in this game then youre not in the game.
Hes not in first grade within 3 weeks.
He wont get tackled.
He wont step.
He wont make big tackles.
He wont play injured.

Which is the same thing other people who have gotten the tap like Woodsy has done.

Impressive that even after getting the tap the club made him captain and even more impressively he lived up to it with a pretty good game against the Cows.

yep, for all of his faults I actually would have been more then happy to have seen him stick around for another year or two on minimum wage like it was rumoured he’d offered to.

SJ is a professional, I can't see him dropping off. He always wanted to go back home and now that his future is sorted and the weight is lifted off his shoulders he will be in a better frame of mind to do what he does best.
We will win easily.

Can see SJ putting in for a few weeks to show NZ what they are getting and what we will be missing*
Then he will wrap himself up in cotton wool.
