I think the Eels know how good he could be. After all, we have massaged and moulded his career since Flegg when we seconded him to the London Broncs. Unless someone comes up with massive overs, I reckon we'll be OK.

In the Sharks forum they seem pretty confident about having a chance at signing him. Anyone else know anything about this? We would be crazy to let him go.

Here's the topic

it's not a matter of letting him go..We really want him, don't worry about that and we're definitely talking to his manager but with everything, it's a case of who wants him more? I'll be brutally honest with you the official I spoke to had told me that he wasn't 100% certain that Feleti will be at the club but we won't die wondering.

It would be a loss but if he doesn't really want to be here, then there isn't much point getting upset about it.

We have a few players coming up in Flegg that are just as exciting, Tony Williams comes to mind.......he is alot more exciting than Feleti imo

Don't get me wrong, i hope he stays, i am just pointing out other options

Tony Williams appears to be a top player. I have only however seen Tony play once, cannot fairly compare him to Feleti.

I agree and saturday has shown that we will be proned to losing a few of these kids to lazy clubs who refuse to develop a player to save their lives so they depend on us, Penrith and Wests Magpies.

it's a sad joke.

That is very true, very dissapointing, all we can hope is that we hold on to the right ones i.e T.Williams, K.Keating, Hodko, Poaneki, Mannah brothers, to name a few standouts

The Flegg lock is a top player. I know Eela rates him. Mckenzie isn't it?

Marty Lewis...I was getting a hard time from Colonel the other night because I didn't rate the kid last year and this year he's basically our best player  ...but than again he was playing second row and we know who the coach was at the time.

Mate I was ready to send Tim Smith to PL after the Souths game. Now I think he is playing as good as the first few games in 2005. Its good that Hages is not as impatient as me.

I actually thought Poeneki was a little dissapointing the other day when he covered for Timmy Mannah, btw i spoke to Tim after their game and allthough it's the same ankle apparently it isn't as bad as a few weeks ago.

Mateo on the same team as Noddy and Covell FTW hahaha. Cmon he'd be mental to turn down a first grade spot here to go... there. Maybe if it was a good club that wanted to sign him i'd understand.

there's alot of influence in Cronulla coming from Jim Dymock who is his Tongan coach and hero and just so happens to be Cronulla's assistant coach ;-)
