I was personally a little surprised to see Moodie in the starting lineup this week.
I though he'd come off the bench or start in reggies.

Good on him though!

i think we can win this match

Well I don't like Bronson being turned into a prop but I'd rather him take the bench prop spot than o'hara :)

I like to think theres room for both in the team ;-)

Lock is Bronsons best position by far though imo, I'd love to see him get another chance to show what he can do there

I think he's much more consistent there than Halatau.

The last time I saw the Tigers play live was with EA at Campbelltown in 05. He had hands like butter.

I'd easily just consign him to the bench and let Bronson start.

hmmm at this stage in their career I'd actually argue that Dene is much more consistant.

What Bronson has though is the sort of natural talent Dene lacks. Dene is the sort of player who has gotten where he is by working 10 times harder than those (like Bronson) who are bigger and more talanted than him. Its what I love about him but, given the chance to play his natural game, Bronson is the potential superstar

What a waste to have Fitzy on the bench both Halatua and Fulton are utility players, I can only hope he drops off and Galea takes the field.... But we all know that won't happen!

I agree I would rather see harrison at lock or second row.
Sheens has stunted his growth and time in FG by changing what position he wants to play him.
Give him a fair go - a couple of the opening games with decent time to prove himself. Not the last 20 minutes when tigers are down 20 - 0. Most talented backrower in their squad - 4 sho'.

Umm im pretty shore either last year or the year before bronson was WT best trainer? not discrediting Halatau- shiat did u his abz on footy show.

moodie wont last either. sheens is hoping he can play first 6 rounds, then fizty, lawrence and mcdonnel wil fight for his spot. maybe chuck another kiwi chance bunce as a bolter later on in the season - why not.

I'm hoping for Matt Ryan - he was one of the players the tigers sent to the Rookie camp this year so he's gotta be at least in Sheens mind for the future.

Does anyone know how much Melbourne is paying at 13+

Don`t worry about it, it won`t be happening.:p

As far as Dene Halatau`s concerned, he should be fast running out of chances, he hasn`t fired since `2005. Bronson trialled well and looks ready to make his mark this season, he should be given plenty of game time hopefully. Back row is by far our strongest position depth wise, we have 7-8 blokes very evenly matched as far as talent goes in my opinion.

Dene spent most of last season injured or recovering from injury.

Thats like saying fulton is 'fast running out of chances' because he hasn't fired since 2005 either...

yeah, dene suffered massive injuries following the 2005 final series. (Back or shoulder???)
He was so good in 2005 because he trained so hard - he nuggety as and was defintely one of the strongest pound for pound in the tigers team.
Hopefully he got a good off-season to rebuild that strength back up. I'd like him to start on the bench and have stints on the field- either at hooker, or backrower. even in the backs if they had injuries.
