Shines post match comments last night in regards to Lote/ Tuiaki

I know a lot of you guys were at the game last night, but did anyone else hear Tom Shines in the post match interview say that Lote and the Tank will fight over the left side winger and Ryan will be the right winger??

Surely we need to get them both on the field at the same time - could Lote play on the right hand side??

Another brilliant insight from Shines...

( And dont get me started on his selections for the Bench - offered no impact compared to Manly, and its no surprise they got on top when Kite, Rose and co came on and we countered with Moors and Cayless and Fitzy in the 78th minute...)

He said they would fight over left wing, but did not say Ryan had the other spot pegged down imo.

Yeah I thought he meant they would both be the wingers but would fight it out between the two of them to see how gets to play on the same side as Benji, Eliis and Lawrence

Of course that's what he meant.

Only the type of idiot that also uses the moniker 'Shines' would think otherwise.

I listened to the press conference and it sounded like he was saying that Beau Ryan's wing spot was safe.

I think he might move Tuiaki into the forwards.

No you got the wrong idea-

He was just saying the left side was a good spot to play as alot of attack goes that way- and TNT and Lote would fight out the left side spot.....

EXACTLY.. He's basically saying they will be fighting over the left wing ( With Lawry, Beji & Ellis) and the other one gets the other wing... i.e Ryan > State Cup

Ok.

No one really has any idea what he meant by it and we are just guessing. We'll have to wait and see.

Also is Tame Tupou a right winger?

Did you even see the interview you peanut?

It appears that someone else has also interpreted his comments the same way I have.

After commenting on Lote/Tuaki fighting it out for the left wing spot, he mentioned something about Ryan playing on the Right wing....

Based on some of his other selection decisions, it certainly wouldn't surprise me if SHINES has a mindset that Right Wing is a specialist position and he will pick what he perceives a specialist to play there...

Mate, each week he insists on picking a John Morris/Fitzhenry type on the bench whom he doesnt bring on unti the 75th minute, so who really knows what his though process is?

Well if the roosters backline is unchanged from last week, the right winger will be up against Minichiello won't they?

I wouldn't be surprised if Fulton is pushed to the centres, Cayless comes into the back row and Ayshford goes to the right wing.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Fitzhenry is put on the right wing

Having seen the presser again, Sheens said he carried Fitzy to cover for Tuqiri as he didn't think he'd last... which makes me think he'll be on the wing. Not much between any of Ryan, Fitz and Brown. At least the later two can run. And neither can possibly catch any worse than Ryan did last week.

Perhaps, but both Fitzhenry and Brown are a disaster at best under the high ball whereas Ryan is pretty safe in this aspect.

With Anasta, Carney and Pierce's kicking games, I suspect we are going to see PLENTY of bombs on Sunday. Mostly aimed at Fitzhenry and Moltzen.

What are YOU on about? Do you listen to what Sheens actually says or are you that much against him that you interpret anything he says as amo for your anti-Sheens campaign?

He clearly said in the press conference that the lesft side on the Wests Tigers team at the moment is very talented and it would be a prized position to play in for either Lote or Tui when he came back. He NEVER suggested that Ryan had the other spot sewn up - he never even mentioned Ryan.

I think most people took it for that

Any one with a shred of common sense could work out what he was saying-

Attention- if you are not sure what he meant you are a dumb sh*t.
