Should Beale replace Bird at right centre?

I'm the opposite. Way more confident with Beale's defence. Loots always seems to be caught back peddling.

I've seen him come out of the line a few times and shut down an attacker .
Maybe that's why
He looks like he could put in a better shot than Beale maybe.

Loots puts on some good shots every now and then i'll give him that. Doesn't matter who we're playing though, his opposing centre seems to get around him consistently. Also, seems to lack creativity with setting up his winger. I'd be more confident with trying Beale there tbh.

According to NRL stats, Ricky has averaged over a hundred run metres per game and only missed four tackles all year. not bad.

Not Dropping Beale to reggies might just be the coaches way of being a bit respectful about not naming him.

He is probably number 1 should any back get hurt.

I don't think it's a coincidence Holmes had a great year last year, and has been little better than average this year.

Both deserve a place in the top 13 I reckon.

Doesn't count as a missed tackle when you are so far out of position the opposing player can go through untouched or you get cut out

Need 4 forwards on the bench. Paulo offers more than I gave him credit for.

bird is a hog, thats not to be derogatory, his first instinct is to run and break the line with his upper body strength

thats why he is best suited to the back row, more so lock, as he can ball play when he wants to

Bakuya would be about 10th choice centre. He's barely in the team when everyone's fit. Birds no great passer, we saw that last year but him and Beale are clearly our two best centres imo. You want a backrow style centre then Capewell is your man.

Also you say he's a hog yet want him at lock for his ball playing??
