Should we start a real NRL section???

Just reading the Sunday papers, and all the Newcastle sports news was about Knights and ex-Knights in the real NRL.
This year has seen a massive increase in news and interest in the real NRL, and i think we could sustain one with the interest from members of this forum alone, but a forum for the real NRL will also attract other fans to join in.

Do it roopy. Not only is to good to promote grass roots footy, but it will give a better indication of how the Knights fringe first grade players are going. It may also lure posters like Mad Goanna to the forum who's pretty knowledgable about the local comp. The only issue that some may raise is that you want to put a CRL based discussion forum outside the Interstate/Origin/Western Reds forum.

Why not link it to this forum (like the Crusade and NFT forums are) given the league is essentially a feeder for the Knights?

There are currently only a few threads in here relating to the real NRL.

I've thought about the idea before, but i'm not going to start a new section if its going to be a ghost town. If we can get a few serious discussion threads on the real NRL in this section, and sustain them, i'm more than happy to put the subforum in place.

Yes especially with Knights player playing in the local comp and now the prospect of local player wanting to show Knights talent scouts what they can do.

Though I hope that incident in Cessnock on Saturday was an isolated incident. Makes it look bad.
