i'm not a massive fan of Melbourne as a team and i don't like the way the crowd boos opposition teams BUT all the fans i know are super dedicated and i think it's an awesome thing for the game.

Parra fans shouldn't be giving them sh*t, a huge chunk of their 'fans' only just appeared in the last month or too.

Parra was partially responsible for the biggest semi crowd ever. Not good enough? FFS.

When Melboring can actually jag a crowd without blaming King of Leon, an ice cream van strike, Halley's Comet or some other obscure phenomena, maybe they might deserve some praise.

I'm wondering if you will show the required passion upon victory next Sunday - should you achieve that. We know we will. We are the gatekeepers of the great area of Western Sydney that Dimetriou will happily sell the family farm so he can get a slice. We burned down our old stadium as victors - didn't need any f*cking D. A. or environmental impact statement either.

The question is - DO YOU HAVE THE GUTS TO DEMOLISH OLYMPIC PARK IF YOU WIN THE COMP ON SUNDAY?

After all, you will have a new stadium -we had to borrow Canterbury's!

I am simply stating that the Eels winning wont actually grow RL in any meaningful way - all that will happen is the Eels bandwagon will dust off their jerseys for a few months, only to put them away when the Eels start losing again.

I would much prefer a team with a more stedfast and loyal supporter base won every year - but nonetheless will be slightly less annoyed if the Eels win this year.

Although the Eels going down would have a lol factor @ their bandwagoners.
