I dunno if Walsh is back from injury yet, and we don't know until tomorrow if Mullen is out for a few weeks or will be back next week either! If Mullen is out i would like to see at least one proper half move up to firstgrade, and that would be Dureau.

Otherwise I too would like to see that team :D

If Mullo and Abes are still out, replace them with Walsh and Dureau respectively. If Walsh still isn't right, Dureau to half, Karawana to 5/8. We need playmakers in the team. Riley Brown was nothing today, and Kidley gave his all, and delivered a superb pass for Paterson's try, but is not a playmaker :p

I think Gordo did enough good things today for him to get another shot next week. If Smithy is doing his rotation policy, give Polglase another week off.

Two 75kg 19 year old halves making their debut together against the Warriors?

Laughable.

Riley Brown? Bad Jobber, bad *smacks Jobber across head*
Yep, this is on the basis that Abes isn't back. Actually, it is Brian Smith and not Michael Hagan :D

*puts Karawana into five-eight if Abraham is out*

No he is playing better and better each week therefore should stay in the side. Polglase needs another season break (or however long his contract is).

QUESTION :
.
Has Corey PATERSON ever played out in the three quarters?????
.
When he made that break late int he second half yesterday, breaking out of the tackle, getting those big legs pumping, my immediate thought was - S#@T - That was beautiful. We haven't had a centre at the Knights who would hit the ball running at good angles and speed like that in years - (if ever) - I loved it.
.
If he has played there in years gone by do you guys/gals think he could go back there and be successful (considering not just his attackiing abilities but also defensive) or should he stay in the forwards???
.
I know he's not the quickest out there but I reckon he could easily get many offloads away to supporting players if he had time and space out a little wider. I see promise - Does anyone else???

The Warriors might struggle to get Witt and Martin on the field anyway after that spear tackle. But with blokes like Mannering and Vatuvei outwide, we may need abit of extra muscle.
My side:

1. Kurt Gidley
2. James McManus
3. Adam MacDougall
4. Cory Patterson
5. Brad Tighe
6. Riley Brown (guessing Abes is still injured)
7. Jarrod Mullen
8. Josh Perry
9. Danny Buderus
10. Mitchell Sargent
11. Steve Simpson
12. Clint Newton
13. Daniel Tolar

14. Kirk Reynoldson

Are you kidding me??? you obviously havn't seen this kid play. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH....

And i would very much doubt it, if walsh is fit, that smith will put him to return from injuries against the Warriors....he will be snapped in half and back in his injury prone world....

:? Who are you talking about?

If its Karawana, then you obviously are the one who hasn't seen him play. He's improving every week and was very good in a beaten PL side yesterday.

well you just proved my point...ive seen him play alot (besides this week just gone) and he is VERY INCONSISTANT....if he played well on the weekend then you can sure as bloody hell know he will be woeful this week...

He was arguably our best on field against the Bears a fortnight ago, didn't play last week and was again in our top three on field yesterday. How exactly is that inconsistent? Keeping in mind he's had to adjust to new styles of play and new players around him in the opening five or so rounds. IMO he's starting to find his niche in the PL side and we need another playmaking option in the halves in FG. We can't leave it all to Mullo to do everything.

Well we are going to have to agree to disagree i think, because i really don't agree with what you are saying....

But as you do say he's had to "adjust to new styles of play"....would you have someone who has played a whole 5 games (one of which he came off injured a few times - HEARTLIDGE) to play FIRST GRADE.....let alone to play FIRST GRADE against the WARRIORS

Karawana was good yesterday.

maybe not FG good, but its not like we are overflowing with halves.

its time to give him a shot.

its a little different with Mark, because he is a big boy himself. And he is use to being hit by men from union....

Karawana is still getting use to being hit by PL boys, not FG WARRIORS, i don't think you can compare the marvin with mark
