Naden from Penrith is a tall rangy speedy centre that is still unsigned for 2020

Yes, but these would already be factors in the 90%/10% split, would they not?
I’m trying to understand what are those little things we could change to boost us up to change the split to 88%/12% or even 85%/15%..
I like your thinking jay mac.. Looking for those 1%-ers..I hear the Spicciatevi Cafe does a pretty mean pljeskavica, and those Trbojevic boys are half Serbian after all. The only question is; can you get a jetski far enough up Muddy Creek to make it worth their while?
If the decision is to put Lomax at fullback, then we need to go for a top tier centre or a proven exceptional young centre like Xerri.I like your thinking jay mac.. Looking for those 1%-ers..
It’s the sort of stuff Possm clearly isn’t doing..
I reckon that puts us at 11% chance now of becoming a twin-turbo side.
Not sure Widdop’s unit is going to cut it.. The brothers are playing together, do they want to live together too?If the decision is to put Lomax at fullback, then we need to go for a top tier centre or a proven exceptional young centre like Xerri.
If the decision is to put Lomax at right centre, then we need to recruit a top tier fullback like T Turbo.
Yes in time Ravalawa might turn out to be a good centre however, right now we need to balance our squad by bringing known quality into our back 5.
I'm fairly sure we will have about 2m to spend for 2020 and so if we can, we should make an aggressive bid for the 3 Turbo boys as a package deal. It is by far not a certainty however, we should give it our best shot. Let the Turbo family take over Widdop's semi down by the beach.
In a previous post it was stated that the boys lived at home with their parents. If this is not the case, you are correct and so they can make their own arrangements. Not sure Widdop’s unit is going to cut it.. The brothers are playing together, do they want to live together too?
They’re grown men with their own partners..
Making them move in together is a terrible idea and would shift it back to 93% chance of them staying at Manly (so a 7% chance of coming to us..)
C’mon Possm we need ideas from you and quickly..
Otherwise I reckon we’ll lose them..
So we’re still back to 90%.. no new ideas yet..In a previous post it was stated that the boys lived at home with their parents. If this is not the case, you are correct and so they can make their own arrangements.
Where do you get your 2 million free from?. I reckon we will have about 33% of that to spend next yearIf the decision is to put Lomax at fullback, then we need to go for a top tier centre or a proven exceptional young centre like Xerri.

Thanks Kiama, I hadn't even thought of doing what you suggested.Frank, you are wasting your time with these clowns. Stop wasting your time in here and start sending your ideas directly to Millward. I’m sure he would welcome the out of the box thinking.
Ahem... what happened to my 1%?So we’re still back to 90%.. no new ideas yet..
Blame Possm..Ahem... what happened to my 1%?
I've outlined my 2m estimate in a previous post. I will search and get back to you. In the meantime where do you get your 630k from?Where do you get your 2 million free from?. I reckon we will have about 33% of that to spend next year
Ravalawa and Lomax are both right side players and Lafai still has one more year to run on his contract. So far I have not heard of Lafai moving on for 2020 however, Maybe the back five could be:Where do you get your 2 million free from?. I reckon we will have about 33% of that to spend next year
Big upgrade on what we have now?A 2.05m backline with size and speed and a big upgrade on what we have now. This backline has the potential to be very competitive in 2020.
Same place you got your 2 mill. From the we have no idea re salary cap shop.I've outlined my 2m estimate in a previous post. I will search and get back to you. In the meantime where do you get your 630k from?
By letting go Widdop, Robson and most of the deadwood and by replacing them with talented juniors and young fringe first graders we will achieve an estimate of 2m;Where do you get your 2 million free from?. I reckon we will have about 33% of that to spend next year
Ravalawa and Lomax are both right side players and Lafai still has one more year to run on his contract. So far I have not heard of Lafai moving on for 2020 however, Maybe the back five could be:
1. Lomax
2. Pearson
3. Ravalawa
4. Lafai or Masters
5. Saab
Now IF we can sign the Turbo brothers then:
1. T Turbo - expensive, Kangaroo and SOO quality Rep with size and speed - 1m
2. Saab - low cost, Junior Australian Rep with size and speed - 200k
3. Lomax - low cost, Junior Australian Rep with size and speed - 250k
4. Pearson - low cost, International player with size and speed - 200k
5. Ravalawa - low cost, International player with size and speed 200k
A 2.05m backline with size and speed and a big upgrade on what we have now. This backline has the potential to be very competitive in 2020.
