Apparently Dykes will be released this week - its just a case of when exactly. Lyon has already been released (conditionally) to play at Wee Waa and as he had to let Parramatta know by June 30 if he would return next year (which he has said he won't) the money he was on was used on Tahu's contract.

Not sure about the Vella rumour but I think this also came up last year as well.

He'd be a useful addition.But i dont think we need a high profile prop forward.With thr young guys oming thru isnt the idea that we groom them for first grade and when theyre ready for it theyll take a place in the team.Vella isnt the sort of guy we should be looking at.Are we really going to push aside a yougster for Vella,Is Vella going to make way once the likes of Gibbs,Small and Lima are first grade regulars.
