Remember when Penrith went on a spending spree about 1993, 1994 trying to recruit their way out of the fallout from their disastrous 1992 campaign?

They even signed Trevor Gillmeister, which turned out to be a real fizzer of a deal for them - effectively becoming a 1-year stop-gap in 1994 before going on to join the Crushers for their 1995 debut season

I loved Phil Blake at the Dragons! He played some sensational games for us, especially in the 93 finals series
