Look for an announcement soon in regards to the re-signing of Sharks star David Simmons.

Simmons, the Sharks leading try-scorer so far in 2005 with seven four-pointers to his name, has been in contract negotiations with Sharks management during the week.

Still only 19 years of age, a local junior and one of the form wingers in the NRL competition, Simmons represents an exciting future for the Sharks. Any announcements can be seen on the www.sharks.com.au website next week.



Good Suff, we should sign as many of our stars before the GC can get them!

Well I reckon Simmons payments should work like teh HECS scheme.
Now that he is finishing his 3rd year & about to enter the workforce, he starts paying back the 3 year of free career training he has received.

Simmons is improving, he still has a lot to learn, but he is getting there slowly..

Good stuff Simmo, luckily none of these coach wannabe's have any impact on your future at the club, keep improving and the majority of supporters except one or two nobody's who are non issues, will continue to support you.
