good news imo

we have to admit reefy, dont we, that he is twice the player he was last year and in the last few weeks he is looking like a good solid first grade winger

despite how bad he was last year

oh i agree he may have got a dream run into 1sts but surely the results are most important

You dont have a clue. There is no way he is on more than the lowest tier.
40-60k
So going by the way the club treats him I would say his new contract will be;

$45,000 per game + a share in gate takings
Conversion of the auditorium into his own penthouse
His own magazine lift out in his choice of Sydney Paper. suggested titles, "Simmo, My Way"
Free tickets to anything, ever for his whole family for their whole lives.
Transfer of ownership of The Sharks on his last game, to him.

You say Rieck was on $60K whilst at sharks? Tigers would have had to pay more. Rieck also played plenty of PL in his time with the sharks. I believe covell would have cost more as he kicks goals. He played 22 first grade games for the tigers, mostly in 03 and he performed well, injury's affected him last year.

I have to admit i have no idea waht king of the hill and BTR are on about. I say Simmons is a good signing,Cronulla would be paying more to Covell than they were paying Rieck whilst he was at sharks. Covell would be worth about $150K if he left now but I think we would have picked him up for about $ 100k at the start of the season, Simmons will get about about $70-80k plus incentives for his new contract. do you disagree?
