There is a multi millionaire (made his money organising concerts for major stars) called Simon Moran. He is obviously a mad RL fan as he bought the ESL club Warrington Wolves a few season ago and has been bankrolling them.

Now I heard on the grapevine that he owns a mansion on West Coast Drive (the big flash stone one near Marmion). Not sure what his link is with Perth but I wonder if the WARL have been in touch to see if he is interested in getting involved with the Reds? Could be a great link up between us and Warrington.

He's basically the main guy -as I understand it- that got Andrew Johns to play those few games for Warrington in 2005. I have that first game he played with them at home, and in the post-game interview (something I gather Simon Moran almost never does!) he talks about how great it is they managed to get Joey there. The interviewer, in the way he talks, basically says that Simon was the main man behind it all.

I've got a Woolston Rovers jersey with SJM Concerts on the front! He used to sponsor the junior teams in Warrington, and probably still does. Worth an email to Richard Campbell?
