Hull KR have smashed their all-time membership sales record. The club has announced that they have reached a total of 8,500 members for the season so far, with the season still over three months away.
Following an excellent season on and off the field, which saw the team reach the Super League Grand Final and the club break their average attendance records for the season, that positive trend has continued with demand for memberships greater than ever before.
For context, Rovers announced on January 31st that they had hit 7,500 sales for the 2024 season. So they have sold 1,000 more memberships for next season than last, three months sooner.

Hull KR have sold approx 9,500 full memberships meaning around 85% of the stadiums capacity will be sold out pre every game. New Craven St coming for 2025 and most of the new East stand extension seating is now sold out.

Craven St is the entertainment area at the South end of the ground. Been hugely successful for pre and post game gathering. Its being redeveloped with more seating, food and drink outlets etc.

The East stand extension is a temp seating area of 1000 seats that's been added to the South end of the East stand.

That’s great stuff

And you know you copied the Wolfpack

That’s a great way to increase crowds

Hopefully one day the club has the money to do a two tiered stand there and build it up to 20k

We actually copied the Dragons who were doing this in Perpignan when I went to a game there in 2010

Plans are for a new west stand and a permanent East stand extension. They'll probably leave the south stand open with the fan zone and build the training facilities behind it to link to the new 3G training pitch. They dropped in a temp South stand for the last two games of the year which if financially viable is a good solution for big games but not losing the fanzone permanently.

More super league clubs should do it

Wigan own some facility outside the ground

Salford can do the same now too

Keeping the fans longer and getting the money they would spend at pubs and cafes in the ground is smart

Went to it for the first time last season and it was great. Good proper beer, great food vans and a band on the stage. We got there 2 hours before the game kicked off. Made for a very enjoyable evening.

Have the plans and finances for those new stands been sorted ? How long does the temp east stand stay for

Is the west stand the main stand ? What’s proposed total knock down and rebuild?

The terrace on the right why leave it as an open terrace someone said that’s where the wind comes in off the ocean and it’s freezing

1. No, its part of the master plan I believe for redevelopment of the 15 acres the club has ownership option on, timewise your guess is as good as mine
2. Year by year. Given how well it has sold this year I suspect it will be there a while. Crazily when the East stand terrace extension was looked at 7year ago it was going to cost 300k pounds. Its now been costed at 1.5million pounds! The club have said they would like to build it in 2026 but we shall see. Having the temp stand there gives the club a sense of sales for future extension I suppose.
3. Yes West is main stand. yes knock down and rebuild. That side is compromised by the training centre at the NW corner so it would be a 3/4 length of pitch stand. Cost would be in the 10-15million pound range looking at recent builds like Wakey.
4. No its south facing, the cold winds come from the north sea from the NE of the stadium. Now its summer rugby (exepct for Feb/Mar and Oct lol) its not so bad and the fanzone is making the club a whack of money so is probably there to stay. As I say I can see them building a training centre behind the fanzone at the south end to link the 3G pitch on west side and the grass training pitches on the east

New West stand and east stand extension and we should be at around 12-13k capacity which is perfect for foreseeable future.

Club is going places

With immunity from relegation clubs will be able to get investors who can sink real money into these clubs

In the last ten years the balance of power in hull has shifted

When I went to the derby in 2008 hull kr were happy the win saved them from relegation

Hull kr and Leigh are the only clubs that got promoted and made a fist of it

Hopefully Wakey look like they will follow our path. I'd love to see Bradford, Toulouse and York in SL one day as well.

Getting Paul Lakin back as CEO turned the club around. Sports clubs should never underestimate a good CEO! Then Smith walking out and Peters coming in and putting a winning team on the pitch was the other major change moment.

Bradford has the odsal problem and moving into valley parade wasn’t popular last time

Ralph has done a decent job there way better than chalmers

Actually going to odsal the view from the side terrace was awesome. The rain during the game not so much

Dunno why Bradford and Wigan were so depressing. Manchester too

St Helen’s and hull were ok and Leeds was amazing

Think I walked past craven park too when I was In hull
