how was the dragons the game ? I’m sure things have change in 15 years but it’s been on my bucket list to attend a game, looks like a great day.
Was brilliant. It was Bastille day weekend so the town was rocking, especially with 3000 drunk HKR fans in it!
First night there we were sat in a little restaurant and Justin Morgan (coach at time) and some snr players came in and sat next to us. Lovely guy and we had a great chat with them all. They bought us a bottle of wine when they found out we had travelled from Perth to see the game!

If you ever do it I can recommend going to Barcelona first and spending a few days there (amazing city) then getting a train from there to Perpignan. Perpignan is nice but small so only need a couple of nights to see the game but then jump on trains and see the area, some awesome little medieval towns near by. We then got a train to Paris which was a lovely train ride and finished a few nights in Paris before flying home. def an amazing RL inspired holiday!

I was so hoping the RLWC 2025 was going to be in France, had planned a 3 week holiday around it! Grrrr.

Bradford has the odsal problem and moving into valley parade wasn’t popular last time

Ralph has done a decent job there way better than chalmers

Actually going to odsal the view from the side terrace was awesome. The rain during the game not so much

Dunno why Bradford and Wigan were so depressing. Manchester too

St Helen’s and hull were ok and Leeds was amazing

Think I walked past craven park too when I was In hull
Yeh odsal will always be an albatross for the bulls unfortuantely. Ive experienced it at its worse in days of winter RL when it was thick fog in the pit and you couldnt see the goalposts, and in height of Bullmania in summer with 25k in it when it was rocking in the sunshine. Bulls def could a strong Sl club with the right investors and management. The fanbase is there.

Ah the good old days of winter rugby. get there early to help shovel the snow off. A flask of bovril to keep you from hypothermia and praying for the final whistle so you can get home to defrost!

“Not only that, the Dragons are the second in the amount of subscribers for Super League +, according to the French publication.”
Pretty good. 4,500 subscribers = 1mill pound. If every club could hit that it'd be a big boost to media revenue. Why fans bemoaning the Sky deal are missing the picture. for the first time ever SL has the opportunity to sell its own product direct.

So they shouldn’t make them pay travelling costs then
