For a small club that’s been a basketcase for so long they show what can be done in terms of growth

Leigh are well along the same trajectory and Wakefield at the start of it

Wakey were awful off the field for a very long time but the new owner and ground improvements have shown a huge turnabout

This is how super league can grow not by being owned by the nrl but their own clubs growing and getting the right investors involved

The thing with English clubs they have a lot of history and deep roots in their community. The oldest clubs are 170 years old they just need decent investors

Not that I’d advocate for it but widnes Halifax and Featherstone plus the Cumbrian clubs would all fall into that category

I’ve followed my club for 45 years through being arguably the best team in the world picking up every trophy and beating a queensland rep side, then through disaster and being relegated to the third division, going broke and entering administration, surviving an underhand attempted take over and closure by our rivals, being excluded from the exciting start of Superleague and now back to the top of the league and challenging once again for trophies and producing international standard players .

Being a HKR fan sure can be a roller coaster ride! let the good times roll!

Love following Wakey, Leigh and Hull KR, hope they can continue winning and improving their stadiums and financial positions
HKR have got some major development plans for the land around the stadium , hopefully it securesthe financial future of the club forever more.

wakey owner is committed to improving the stadium further and investing in the team

leigh owner is doing lots of things right and engaging their fanbase really well.

its great to see some of the traditionally lower clubs growing on and off the field. In reality 75% of SL clubs are looking really good right now.

With an improved Hull FC, and KR doing well, Easter clash surely could be over 20,000 right?
If fc can keep,Leroy ing yes you’d hope so. Unfortunately the number of seats for hkr fans is capped at 5k otherwise the stadium would be full no problem.

Any idea what kind of money Hull KR will pull in from Coldplay concert?
No, but we’ve done pretty well leasing out for for concerts and boxing. Getting secondary revenue streams was one of Lakins (ceo) key goals.
still can’t believe coldplay are playing there lol, WA govt paid millions to get them to play at Optus!
