I'm your typical Storm hating Dragons fan, but I have to say Slater has no equal atm and is possibly the best, fastest and most skillful fullback I've seen in my 35 years of watching this game.

He is a grub though.

I'd go along with moik. Slater is pretty much the number one player atm and has been for some time. There are however some aspects to his game that get him into trouble a lot. He is definitely no role model and that is unfortunate in some ways as he's such a great player.

I'm a dragons fan too by the way. There's a few I wouldn't like to see wearing the red V, Slater is one of them.

The investigation underway is an external forensic fraud specialist company looking at the 2nd set of books, employed by the auditor (Price Waterhouse I believe). The inference by Dr Rob Moody of the Storm is that the signatures on the contracts supplied to the NRL was duplicates forged from the original contracts.
This fraud becomes a police matter, as well, the tax office are in there looking at the boats, the brown bags, the Harvey Norman gift cards, etc. When Billy said it is a criminal investigation, he is right. People will be jailed over this, the players are deadset sh*tting themselves over this.

Especially when the camera crews were on Waldron the other week and he declares that if Rupert Murdoch wants to come over to chair a public inquiry, he will reveal all. The guy is off in la la land.
