And people wonder why i dislike Slater...

I'm still wondering why you do dislike him. Obviously his judicary record this year has erased your momory of everything else he's done for the Storm

Yes i'm pissed of with him for being reckless and having not thinking, but it's hardly going to make me dislike him. But that's just me of course, oh and most probably 99% of all Storm supporters.

I thought it was accidental, but he did strike him, and he will be suspended. End of story.

Won't affect the Storm's performance much though. They'll thump the Broncos with Inglis carving up.

from wot i saw with the webb incident, smith was the agressor... and webby defended himself... or smashed smith, look at it which way u will. webb definetly provocked smith with a pat on the back, but he has the right 2 defend himself

Billy Slater is.....

the next Danny Williams

maybe Billy can say he was concussed and he didn't know what he was doing.

why would he do that? it didnt work for danny.

Maybe fui fui could have used that excuse?

Fui fui by the time he ends his career will have 40 more charges/suspensions then what the entire storm squad from 2000-2006 will have added up.

Slater has done a few very stupid things....but its nothing new...things like that happen every week and sometimes dont even get picked up. Im not making excuses or whatever....because i think he should be suspended for 2-4 weeks...but to say he is the "next danny williams" is stupid.

That was soft, barely anything in it. Two weeks is too much imo...penalty would of been sufficient, but our judiciary is the pinnacle of inconsistant

he had no need too lean in wqith hes forearm all he had too do was touch him and it was a tackle no need too slide or anything

While it was uneccessary, at the same time there was nothing in it. If you think that was bad or a bit rough go and watch tennis or golf. Or hang on, maybe darts might be up your alley. The bottom line is you're only sooking because it was done to one of your players, if it wasn't a Tiger and he didn't have the history with Skandalis we wouldn't have heard a peep out of you

THAT WAS A BIT OF A ROUGH UP...

DEADSET, IF THINGS LIKE THIS WERE PENALISED AND REPORTED IN GAMES AT PARK LEVEL THERE WOULD BE NO ONE LEFT PLAYING THE GAME.

IF YOU CANT HANDLE A BLOKE GIVING YOU A BIT OF A DUST UP THEN GET OFF A FOOTBALL FIELD FOR f**k SAKE.

I MEAN FOR BLOKES WHO PLAY A SPORT WERE THE PRIMARY ACTION IS SMASHING YOUR BODY INTO BIGGER STRONGER BLOKES AS HARD AS YOU CAN IT CAN SOMETIMES GET A BIT AIRY FAIRY!

Having now seen the incident several times, although Slater is a bit of a grub and FAR from my favourite player or bloke in the game - I can ay with absolutely no bias here (I couldn't care less if he were to be suspended or not!) - that the benefit of the doubt for mine, was that it looked accidental - he kind of slid in awkwardly and his forearm made some pretty incidental contact with the fallen player's head.

So I'm with the people saying along the lines of - "If that kind of thing is to be regularly penalised - then that is only contributing to the softening of our game!"

Deadset see that kind of contact - and worse - a dozen times a game. Nothing in it.

Maybe he should have used the knees instead, he would have gotten away without charge, just ask Shayne Dunley ;-)
