Like a lot of people, I used to like parker. He was a broncos players you could respect. When broncos had their hard patch between 2010-2014 they had a lot of overrated blokes with big egos, but parker seemed to be a player that quietly went about his work and always put in. I remember reading somewhere that in the wash up after maroons 2005 series loss players like Ross and Parker were blacklisted while others were put on notice. It created a humility in parker who become a good team player and work horse. But after establishing himself back in the maroons camp he become am arrogant, whinging cheap shot merkin.

Dude King hit me at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow (was bouncing) we ejected him gently and when we turned to go back inside he ran up and punched me in the back of the head like the soft pos he is. Tried to press charges but was told by the cops to let it go.

Also seen him out on the town with other women 3 nights after his first kid was born.

Total scumbag like the majority of Bronco players who buy into their culture.

Tried to press charges was told to leave it alone....... If you work in the industry up here you tend to do as your told by the cops. And it isnt the only time I seen bronco players get protected in Brisbane over shit.

If I remember right the exact wording was like " Don't worry about it mate, we will take it from here." That was when I tried to give a statement and my Boss would not even accept the IR I had written up.

The effort it woulda taken to push through the roadblocks and the pain in the ass it woulda caused me. Certainly helpped in making my decesion to not move forward with the complaint alot easier.

Understandably, the court process can be laborious and the processes imposed by the judicial system needs some overhaul.

I didn't say he asks the police to charge him. he makes the complaint, receives medical attention and provides the police with a statement & they then investigate, if there is enough evidence they initiate the court proceedings.

I'm well aware of the process in this scenario. Thanks for the valuable input though.
