And Smith is prepared to pay an 'extraordinary' payment to get Burgess back to the NRL, with Souffs of course. Bit more leveling going on.
I thought he was Roosters supporter with His mates Poltis, Bouris and company.
I thought you meant Russell Packer at first
So the Friday night schedule will basically be out reading above
Broncos, Rabbits, Roosters, Bulldogs
The rest can please themselves
No, wrong again.
As with The Rorters the year they ran last and won the spoon Channel Nein gave the poor buggers the first five games of the following season on Free to Air TV Games.
So in keeping up with the generous precedent set by the NRL and the Channel Nein gang than our mighty skyblue black and whites will be spearheading the start of the 2015 televised season.
It is all part of the new Level Playing Field Thang by Smithies NRL
Do stats exist since Nine took over free to air to measure the vast unfairness. Where's Middo when you nerd him.
I see your five and lower it to zeroWe be lucky to see 5 FTA games all season
As Souths rated through the roof I am tipping 18 free to air games. Sharks, Raiders and Warriors 2 each. Smith does nothing. Should pay each club who gets less then the team with the most free to air games compo for the amount of games less. So if Souths get 18 and Raiders get 2 then Raiders receive $100 000 per game x 16 less games = 1.6 million compo for lost sponsors, poor time slots. Someone has to even out this uneven playing ground. Basically Nine are dictating a teams success and viability.

Of course they are dictating the success and viability.
They want two of the biggest teams there at the end on grand final day, which they got this year with Souths and Canterbury.
Can you imagine the heart attack they'd have if there was just four teams left and they were, let's just say, Raiders, Cowboys, Warriors and us? They would see that as the worst possible scenario and in a way it would be. Poor attendance and probably poor TV ratings would see both 9 and the NRL lose a shitload of money so they rig all the regular round TV ratings to get all the favourites (which is Souths, Manly, Broncos, Roosters, Parramatta and to an extent even the Tigers and now Penrith) through till the end.
You watch Souths get about 18 Friday night fixtures next season, I know I won't be watching them. And the Broncos will get all thier usual Friday night time slots as well.
f**k channel 9
