Good to hear that you have someone at your club willing to sort out fans concerns or at least listen to them.

I don't think Wests care about the traditional fans of both teams. The crowd at Leichhardt was 4,500

I know the rugby was on, but that is a very poor attendance.

New fans are a lot more fical, so if they want to attract them, then they better start winning & not having all of this bad press. Otherwise it might be 300 people turning up next time.

His email was finished off with "Please keep supporting the Wests Tigers & Balmain Tigers" even though he knew that i don't support Wests.

Sorry if I came across like I thought of this as a competitior to WORL, I totally disagree with that, but do agree it is a better alternative, just based on calibre of the posters. Thanks for the welcome guys, I was a tad nervy that maybe u would take my joining incorrectly.

Now on the Wests Game, there was closer to 8K (well so the turnstile said)there but females got in for free, so they possiblyweren't counted. I;m an old magpies fan, and to be honest, I think Wests Tigers are halving their options if they merge the First Division and Flegg teams. Both allow for more juniors to come up and mix with the other first grade sides, and look at the ladder, Balmain is 7th and Wests are 1 point out of the 8.

As for the SL Tri-Series, I think that was wrong because it was 2 states Vs a Country
the proposed NSW, Queensland and Auckland concept looks more promising, however Aucklands colours are Blue and White, may upset some NSWelshmen :p. I have nothing wrong with expanding the State Of Origin concept, maybe an idea would bekeep the current 3 match series, and at the end of the season (have ita shorter season of course) you have a knock out Aus, NZ Challenge.

State teams fromall the Australian states, and all of the NZ regions in a knock out competition.Me being aVictorian originally wouldlove to see them take on NSW, even if the score was 150 - 1

Yak - It is a pretty desperate situation if they have to let females in for free & can only attract 8,000 total.

I am not sure how you feel about the merger, but there is a growing number of Balmain fans that i have spoken to that wished that this never happened. From what i see & hear, the merger is turning into a takeover........
