Actually, there is hardly anyone in this thread (Sharks supporters) that are not members of the CSSC, but unfortunately I was in Qld otherwise I would have taken the fugger home as a souvenir.

Id like this incident to be brought to everyones attention....

Is it just me or are we seeing an increasing number of these sorts of incidents...its ugly and the game just doesnt need it. I dont mind when a fence is genuinely damaged and collapses...but fair dinkum, these fences are taking a dive!!

It happened last year in Newcastle and now this trend is rearing its ugly head again...fences deliberatley taking a dive when clearly they are able to take the weight...

its doesnt look good for the game and it certainly isnt a trend we want to encourage...

but what can be done.......where do we nip this in the bud???

 Gold.

coolumsharkie, despite popular opinion I don't conduct background checks on every fan to check whether they're a general Sharks fan or a CSSC member, so that's a pretty narrow statement to make and a pretty sh*thouse point to try and take me on. I specifically outlined the CSSC because it was those shirts involved... nothing more, nothing less.

geez one would think you owned the fence.

Anyhow as a cssc member myself there would definitely been no intend to destroy property. We celebrate pretty hard and any win against the merged scum is extra extra special. A little fence was crushed its not the f**kin Berlin wall

Just think, they could give an unemployed merged scum a job at repairing the fence. Win win for everyone ;)

How about building a ground that doesn't fall apart? How some of these delapidated grounds get through health and safety checks is beyond me!

The Dragons and other ill-equiped grounds should follow the lead of stadiums like that of the Sharks which offer perfectly erected, metalic, triangular prism fences which withhold the torrent of even the most passionate fan.

Plywood backed fences just don't cut it these days.

Dragons will be lucky to avoid any public liability issues here. I saw a few young ladies suffer injuries due to this death trap.

The Scum fans were celebrating like it was a Grand Final, but they were the winners on the night so fair enough to them.

In hindsight, I am not upset with the Scum supporters club breaking the fence after reading their responses to it. All it means is that Saints fans have a green light to tear up their stadium when we visit in 2008…

I have no doubt that if the same police who arrested that chaser bloke were there they would have charged the sharks supporters with malicious damage to the fence. But of course they lost their 'chasers' case didn't they?

Wes could maybe get on the oval in his car prior to the game?

probably still higher than that in townsville

I see you have an intelligence maybe a little higher than a frog.

You said that Sharks fans could not afford it, I then point out that they are among the wealthiest people in Sydney.

What does Townsville have to do with anything?
