Soft Dugan to play on with dislocated AC joint

Seems pretty stupid, like most moves of desperation. I'd say once the Raiders are out of the finals race they'll get him out of there and give him the operation. I hope I am wrong, but I can only see this ending badly, which is a shame because I am a fan of the Dugan.

as i understand it the injury cant really get much worse
he's going to have to have a reco at the end of the year, but even if he takes the field v the sharks and takes a heavy knock to it, there is a limit on how much damage it can do

My only concern is him taking heavy knocks to it and having to come off the field mid game, leaving us short and reshuffled in the backline.
Id prefer him to get the reco done now and be fit and firing for pre season training 2013
