The penalty against parra for the tackle in mid air on Ronaldo.. I thought should have actually have been a penalty try? He tackles him in mid air which you can’t do.. why is everyone losing it?
It's a weird one that, you'd be filthy if you were a Parra supporter if Simonsson just let him score. I hate that rule anyway, I can understand taking someone's legs out mid air is dangerous but stuff like that should be play on.

I agree. The defender shouldn’t have to just let them score, but that’s been the rule for ages. I don’t get the outcry about it being the incorrect ruling

IMG_4001.jpegI noticed this during the game, and managed to get a screen grab watching it on replay. What is doing with AFB’s ear? I’m wondering if maybe he’s got an ear infection or something - would explain why he seemed to play lower minutes.

He didn't play lower minutes. He played his customary 43 mins.
Same as he plays most weeks. Last week was different because of Golden Point.
Fitz has his two starting props playing 43 mins nearly every game. McInnes usually plays 58 mins or thereabouts.
His use of the bench is fairly structured and nearly the same each week.
Last night's anomaly was Sifa only playing 1 min then HIA.

A fair enough… I felt watching it like he wasn’t on as much as usual, but clearly not,..

Anyhow - the ear thing is weird… I do hope it’s not a bloody piercing he’s just got taped…

Feel like Nicho has turned a bit of a corner the last two weeks. Playing more controlled but aggressive. Him firing up at Fox at the play the ball was great

We f**king take Nikora for granted.

JC looked great. Size, speed, ball playing. He needs to get more game time at 13. DA experiment is over. Tuks on bench next week for sifa please

JC looked really good. Can’t wait to see him in a month. Looked gassed after 5 minutes but I expected that with a big step up in speed.

Completely agree. He adds a bit of speed off the mark to our middles - something we lack. He looked every bit the first grader we’re all hoping he will be. Took his yards when he needed to take a tough carry, distributed nicely, got through plenty of work….
Hope Fitz lets him cement that 14 spot now. JC, Sifa and then 2 of Hazo, OK, Toby, BHU, Tuks (with 1 of them starting too) makes for a great bench rotation. No more Atko unless we lose Kennedy or one of our halves.

It's already been said but nicho looks like a half back this year, feels pressure and is making good decisions, if only he hit that drop kick last week. the partnership is going well
Will kennedy is playing super confident his timing with nicho is spot on at the moment and his kick returns have been dangerous all year
Tough game next week another team coming off a bye

I was there.
Hynes looked better live.
Or did he happen to play better tonight.

Masterclass in lock play by victor in the 2nd game. Trailing the ruck at most play the balls then slyly injects himself and ball plays.
cut out pass for a try.
Can beat a man.

A lock should be able to do that .
Where have the Wayne's pearces and brad Clyde's and Kurt Sorensons gone?
The lock is a runner.

Yeoh has it.
Our attack cannot go to the required level while that plodder wears the 13.

JC. Great stuff.
Ticked evey box.
Tackled well.
Ran hard.
Ball played.
Spent time in the bin.
Long hair and head band.
Didn't get injured.
Pushed Atko off the bench.
6 Dally M points right there

You are describing Hohepa Puru. I've seen all the NSW Cup games on BAR TV this year. He's magic. Sometimes I think FitzLoyal makes people pay their dues a bit too long.

Won't get any IMO. Kennedy will get 6. Does he deserve to? Maybe/Possibly but he's flavour of the month in the Dally M and we all know the judges are brainless gimps who just follow each other like lemmings

Possibly good have been a PT but I was OK with the reasoning that Ronnie still had a lot of work to do. The penalty was just another example of being technically correct but pragmatically flawed.

If he was as dead as he was acting after that hit should have gone for a HIA. Tackle without the ball sure, but that was it. Cat hit the ground and stayed down , jumping up once the ref had stopped play miraculously recovered.
Well he also played a role in the incident. He did nothing to try and avoid the collision. Fekking pussy, prima donna, arm extending pharquewit,

I'm extending the cunova winger list to include Moses.

At the top of the list too I might add

Trindall didn’t even go on with the hit.
He braced himself for the collision and immediately turned to run back in position for the next tackle.
Absolute non-event .

And just in case we all forgot: Mitchell Moses Is A Bitch

Gotta be said, Jack Williams offered nothing. Good timing getting rid
I actually think he's been missed. There's been games when the forwards have gone to sleep where Williams would have led them out of the slumber. He did that repeatedly last year. The dropped ball thing is over stated and a bit of a Sharks Fan fixed belief. Nikora makes more errors but doesn't cop it. Talakai only made 2 less last year off the bench. Wilton was only 3 behind.

GET HIM BACK!

I just watched again and was about to post that Moses was looking Trindall in the eye and put both bumpers up to brace for the contact HE MADE

You're a cunova thing Pusscake
