Well now, I took three of my 4 kids to the coaching clinic today. I thought that a coaching clinic was for the kids to interact with their favourite players and maybe learn a thing or two from them, but today looked more like a parents hunting session for photos and autographs. They asked parents to leave the field about 4 or 5 times so that the players could get involved in the drills the kids were doing, some would leave for a little while then return minutes later to go and find players to sign and have photos with. Now dont get me wrong I understand it is hard to police, but shouldnt these things be about the kids, not the parents! Sorry , just got really annoyed, had to get it all out!

Yeah that must have been disappointing. If that was the case it sounds like the club had the best of intentions but were let down by the parents and the fans who took advantage of such a day. Hopefully this doesn't mean Parramatta will avoid organizing similar days in the future.

yeah you find most days with player appearances/clinics for kids are invaded by parents and people who are just there to get autographs photos etc.

tbh it's pretty shameful to turn up autograph hunting for something that is solely organised for kids

Now dont get me wrong I understand that being around your favourite club's players, you would want your kids to have photos with the players and their signatures, but isnt that why they have fan days and signing sessions. I know that I was not the only one who got frustrated with it, and it wasnt just about my kids. Some of the kids didnt get to see some players as they were bailed up by hoards of people. Krisnan was signing for a long time before he got away, I just hope for the kids sake that next time they will be able to think of ways to keep other people away as it is the kids day afterall! There was a big turnout , which is great, but something needs to be done before the next one!
