What the f**k. Honestly, what does Sutton provide that Lewis doesn't? Nothing. Reynolds provides even less than Sutton. Unless Lozza isn't quite sold on Maloney yet, but I doubt that since Carney didn't make it.

Surely getting a big body like Grant or Mason that could really bust up the middle of Queensland while Scott and Shillington are off was the better choice?

Seems a lot in here rate Reynolds over Sutton.

He can play quite a few positions, has a very good running game. Makes a solid utility who could be damaging against tired forwards.

How can having MORE props make it more likely Slater will 'carve up'? Because they will be too fresh after a rest on the bench?

Another prop would take advantage of Queenslands small bench.

John Sutton is a useless selection, he is a poor man's Luke Lewis who is of no use because we selected Luke Lewis the first time.

Even in the last few years there's been plenty worse players represent NSW than Gidley.

But it doesn't matter, he's out now so no point going on about him.

As for Sutton and J. Reynolds, personally not the direction I would have gone (another big man) but not the worst thing they could have done either, I can live with it. Will be interesting to see how whoever ends up getting picked is used, if at all.

Don't think you can compare starting in one of the most important positions on the field to being a bench utility who will probably play less than 20 minutes.
