NSW TEAM FOR GAME TWO
1. Matt Moylan, 2. Josh Mansour, 3. Michael Jennings, 4. Josh Morris, 5. Blake Ferguson, 6. James Maloney, 7. Adam Reynolds, 8. Aaron Woods, 9. Robbie Farah, 10. James Tamou, 11. Josh Jackson, 12. Wade Graham, 13. Paul Gallen. Interchange: 14. Dylan Walker, 15. Greg Bird, 16. David Klemmer, 17. Andrew Fifita. Development players: Bryce Cartwright, Jack Bird.

Queensland by plenty.

That'll do me.

Go Queensland.

Hiney and Eele.

What would your teams have looked like?

I'm happy with Graham's inclusion, but if Beau Scott is not:

(1) NSW's best back-rower (who is also in great form);

(2) bettet suited to Origin footy than Greg Bird

then I'm blind.

I'm all for selecting for the future, but when Daley claims he's looking to the future and dumps Scott while selecting Bird, then he's either blubd, stupid or a hypocrite.

This is the exact reason why I'm sick and tired of NSW - Paul Kent put it best: we are rewarding mediocrity.

Then Phil Rothfield commends Daley on his loyalty - last I checked, Scott was there last year, and did nothing wrong; clearly, Daley's "loyalty" is over-stated and even falsified.

Not only that, but if James Tedesco can't get a run when fit, then I have to surmise that Daley is taking the piss. Tedesco is twice the player Moylan is, and particularly at fullback.

Dylan Walker on the bench again? Brilliant Daley, just brilliant

So you essentially agree with 15 of 17 selections?

I'd have gone Tedesco for Moylan
Cartwright for Walker
Either Dugan or Roberts for Morris

Meh Origin is a farce these days, Daley and Fulton have derped it up for a decade but continue to keep their jobs. it's a joke.

It is pretty easy to bag Fulton, Daley etc but the select few alternative choices that people have mentioned don't all of sudden turn us into a team of superstars. QLD have far superior cattle.

Absolutely.

But the selectors' thought process is somewhat broken - reward loyalty, but dump Scott; keep choosing Farah, a bench hooker for his club, over an in-form Ennis; keep selecting Jackson for whatever reason...

Meh.

The reality is that most outraged merkins on here would struggle to come up with anything more successful.

I'll also put this on record.

I don't think I've read anything on here in the last 13 years (as a couple of different posters) that would lead me to believe that there is anyone who posts on here that knows more about rugby league than either Laurie Daley or Bob Fulton. If you think you know better then you are kidding yourself.
