I wouldn't like it either if a key player from the eels got injured in origin but I also like the fact that playing football like origin can make them a better player.

Not sure Dylan Walker will be any better for Manly this week than he was before last night

shit game, but the only change i'd make to NSW is get rid of Walker and bring in Cartwright or Frizzell in his place, Walker was a waste of space sat on the bench for 70mins and then bearly touched the ball and on his one hit tried to milk a penalty and instead turned over possession. Also is Dugan is fit bring him back for Morris, that tap says it all...

Last 9 mins I mean what's the point of picking him ?

IIRC Tranny got picked on the bench for NSW once and the f**kwit coach did not put him on !

BOZO's secret weapon. Like Buhrer

If he gets picked game 2 i hope NSW get flogged. Josh Reynolds or Austin would of been more worth the risk IMO.

Yeah well I don't think 9 minutes of origin would help anyone in fact I don't think even one game would make a lot of difference but a series or 2

Positives I thought that Moylan Jennings and Josh Jackson were great. Jimmy tried too. The rest offered little.

I thought Moylan was a bit meh. He looked OK with the ball in hand but also made some errors dropped ball, letting the ball bounce ect.

Also he was caught hopelessly out of position for Qld's try, he didn't even get within 5 metres of Gagai, I would have expected better anticipation.

The Special One would have taken Gagai into touch.

He also was slow on JT's kick back for Cronk. I give him benefit of doubt for 1st game

Plenty on twitter saying that B J Whatsisname be included instead of Morris.

Is he any good > I don't watch Ricky games.

Can be brilliant.... Can also be a bonehead.

I actually think he would be good inclusion so long as you tell him to keep a level head and not get baited, he has a tendency to implode on occasions, let's mistakes and opposition players get to him

Not me... I couldn't give a tinker's cuss about Origin these days.... I watch footy because I follow the Eels and that's the team I want to see win a premiership. Origin is a distraction and worse, impedes some teams chances of winning the premiership they train and bust their guts for 10 months of the year for...

Ironically, now that the Eels have been more or less rubbed out of the premiership race for 2016, I should probably be keen to focus on somehting else like maybe seeing NSW win a series for once... but I ain't...

I couldn't agree with you more. This old dinosaur from a past era has totally hi-jacked the NRL competition. Does anybody really care who wins? It's just a series of exhibition games every year that completely roots the NRL competition. Club coaches hate it, I'm sure. It's not even a representative series that players can aspire to play in as a reward for good form - because there is this manufactured 'win at all costs' mentality, so only players who have shown they can 'handle' that gladiatorial arena are chosen year after year. And then you hear Laurie Daley and others speak about the series in such reverential tones, as though it's a matter of life and death or something. What a load of wank.
If they really want something the fans can get interested in - bring back the Amco Cup.

BJ is great with the ball....he scared Sandow into not even trying to tackle him.

He can makes some terrible reads in defense, but I guess he's getting a bit better in that regard. Brett Mullins also started out as a liability in defense.

But ..... if we're just talking about last night's game in isolation - I thought it was very exciting. I liked what Maloney did. I thought Reynolds became more comfortable as the game progressed, and will be better next time. Same with Moylan and Mansour. I still don't quite understand the Dylan Walker selection (I would prefer either Cartwright or Jack Bird). Farrah made a few bad decisions, but I was very impressed with his kicking game.
I think NSW will win the series - but I don't really care too much.

Agree... Not tough enough for origin

Don't you remember when we destroyed Canberra? Jennings and Norman had a field day down Leilua's side.

No, thanks.
