I'll also put this on record.

I don't think I've read anything on here in the last 13 years (as a couple of different posters) that would lead me to believe that there is anyone who posts on here that knows more about rugby league than either Laurie Daley or Bob Fulton. If you think you know better then you are kidding yourself.

You'd better get pou off ignore Gary you are missing out

Meh.

The reality is that most outraged merkins on here would struggle to come up with anything more successful.

I'll also put this on record.

Do you think Farah is a good selection over Ennis, for example?

Similarly aged, but Farah offered little in game I, and is coming off the bench for the Tigers - while Ennis is playing a major role in the Sharks' impressive run.

Daley claims loyalty, yet drops a proven perforner for no other reason than "looking to the future".

He then selects an old, insipid Greg Bird because he's "Origin tough".

The same clowns keep making the same blunders, and then wonder why we lose every year; their selection process is clearly not working - Queensland were awful in game I and still won.

I gather that it doesn't bother you much at all, and that's fine - but for me, crowing about loyalty and mateship and then dropping someone who doesn't deserve to be dropped (and is in terrific form) and selecting a plodder like Bird in his stead is the height of idiocy.

Daley has made one monumental mistake above all others imo - he's looking to the future.

Well, NSW has been a joke for a decade - I'm not sure he has that luxury of saying, "In three years' time, Cartwright will be our superstar! You'll see!"

So - what can he do?

That's the million dollar question, but evidently, what he has been doing isn't working.

It's time for change imo.

Ennis and Farah are pretty level in my mind and they are both a million miles from Cameron Smith. Daley feels obliged to go with Farah because despite the issues going on at the Tigers, he feels that Farsh has delivered for him in the past. I would have no problems going with Ennis but I don't think it changes much.

I don't have a major issue with Bird but I can see why people would.

Again though, you have only come up with a few points of difference. People talk about Daley being a complete deadshit but the reality is that you wouldn't do much different.

Ennis is nsw best dummy half at present and tbh i reckon should have been in the team from game 1 ... but he did nothing in his previous appearance for nsw ... the problem is SOO goes too fast for ennis' traits to have any meaningful effect

And yeah i reckon Bird is still a good player, especially in origin

People had bitched n moaned about cordiner previously too ... and maloney ... but they were probably 2 of our best in game 1

I can understand calls for changes ... and i reckon a loss this series probably means laurie should move on ... but i also agree that nsw just has a mass of players who could arguably all get a spot in the team but are unfortunately a level below the queensland f**kers

Just my opinion, but adding Ennis in for Farah changes plenty:

Ennis' attitude and merkin factor are far superior; Ennis is an unselfish player (unlike that Lebanese show off); and I'd even rate Ennis a better leader.

On its own, I've no qualms with Bird - but to cut Scott but keep Bird, while saying you're looking to the future, makes no sense.

Tbh, I know NSW's squd has nothingon Qld's.

However, this NSW system kept Hayne away from FB for years...they put him at FB, finally, and NSW win their first series in donkey's...

The NSW systems need an overhaul.

The Dylan Walker selection alone proves that Daley shouldn't be there.
Doesn't have enough balls to tell Bozo to get f**ked.

Agreed.
Ennis is the type of player QLD would select.
Farrah is the player we pick.

The best thing Tigers could do this season would be to ship Farah off to England immediately.
I'd be willing to give them the premiership if they did, maybe just minor premiership

Farah has been within his rights to stand his ground under his current contract.

Must be frustrating to not be utilised as first choice club dummy half, but his Origin loyalty is being rewarded... so go figure?

Guess for him it comes down to a choice about whether he can organise to play first grade elsewhere for the same income, versus which is more important to him at this stage of his career - continued first grade, or the continued current contract money while playing off the bench or NSW Cup?

As for State of Origin,m I don't think it makes much difference... Farah, Ennis and Peats (if he's next in line) are not in the same ball park as Cameron Smith.

I don't know why people are debating two hookers who are very evenly matched but with a slight edge on origin performances to Farah (played in only series win; ennis played in embarrassing flogging game 3).

Where we are missing the boat is in conservative selections.

Blake Ferguson? Seriously? Picked because he was in the Aus team and has been stinking it up for the last ten club games. Is actually getting worse every week.

Jack Bird was the selection we should have taken but didn't. Same with wade graham first time round.

Gallen was the grinding negative plugger we should have left out.

These were all controversial but we went safe every time.

But at the end of the day we can match wild everywhere but hooker half and five eighth. Reynolds Maloney is so off the pace I reckon we got as close as we were ever going to get and mainly due to home advantage and a slippery surface.
