Pom
2011 highest try scorer.... May have even cracked double figures.

I'd have him playing a Ben creagh role , without the pussyness.

i would like to see this guy playing some trials, maybe he might crack it in the NRL

I'm sure they'll give him a run at some stage in a First Grade trial.

Our back line is far from settled.

Hope his defensive qualities that have been talked about as being his best asset continue at the First Grade level in the future.

Having watched Sosaia play for a couple of seasons I can tell you guys that you got a good pick up there. In fact I must say he was one of the better centre prospects coming up in the last 2 seasons. I think if Konrad Hurrell hadn't arrived on the scene in such storming fashion the Warriors probably would of held onto young Feki. But with Carlos Tuimavave and Glenn Fishiahi also arriving on the scene there just wasn't enough space.

He reminds a bit of a player in New Zealand who had huge potential but never made it at the higehst level due to some legal charges against him when he was younger called Sala Fa'alogo. Simular type player except Feki isnt as physically imposing.

This what you will get with Feki. Natural instinctive footballer, runs good lines and doesnt over play his hand if its not required. Looks to set up and finish - so a bonus there. Can be a very busy player, doesnt like to just sit out on a flank. Pretty quick without being a speed Demon so dont make him a winger, he does have really good acceleration off the mark. Defensively solid also.

So all in all, a great pick up by crounulla and I am sure there must of been other interest from clubs for this young talent.

P.S - dont see him as a Konrad Hurrell rampaging type centre. He doesn't play that style of game at all. He is a more balanced/ footy brain type player with athletic ability looking to expose a flaw in the opposition not blow a hole through them.

Yeah thanks for the info. It's nice to get a promising youngster that comes without the fanfare (ie. Karlos Filiga- the next SBW my arse)

Frenzy.

So Feki is no better than 4th choice at the Warriors.

Hmmm

Bit of premature ejaculating going on here. As usual.

apparently our backline is far from settled.
rubbish.
Gards
Hot dog
Stapo
Pom
Best
Carney
Robson.

Unfortunately, you may well be correct. Very long off season if that is the case. I would only change 4. Gards justs scrapes in (I decided to ignore his brain snaps). For the record , I would have the Chad over Robson and my old cat over Pom ( incidentally my cat is not very good like Pom).

Gards
Mills
Feki (must be better than Stapo).
My cat
Best
Carney
Townsend

Pom and Stapleton definitely in the centres?

Best wants to play wing again??

Robson the definite choice at half back?

You are sure about that?

Really?

I think I know which post is rubbish and it wasn't mine.

Stapo will be on the wing & the centres will remain unchanged unless we sign Inu.
The other variable will be the expected 2-3 injuries we pick up through the trials. If Best gets hurt , there wont be too much drama with a direct change , but it Carney or Gards get hurt, there will be a major reshuffle.
Other than that, the back line will be as I wrote. it is obviously, very settled.

Gards will be at the back unless injured, a few brain snaps maybe but he's still one of the NRL's most talented FB's.

Don't look on that as a bad thing. Remember the Warriors U20's have been champions 2 years running and the word is the next crop is just as talented. SO the Warriors are overstocked with talented juniors and finally as a club after so many years of not doing it - theyare holding on to the cream of the crop. But they can not keep them all. For example Sebastine Ikahihifo the standout 2nd rower in the junior kiwis/kangaroos series was told he is welcome to look elsewhere given the talent stocked up on the books.

Fishiahi, who could be starting fullback for most other NRL clubs is being forced to wing and centre cover after waiting 1 year behind Kevin Locke. And there is Konrad Hurrell competing with Ropati, Inu, Lewis Brown and Carlos Tuimarvave.

So Sosaia is not a poor cast off by any means, The Warriors were a grand final team this year and there is just a lot of talent filling up slots.

He is actually quite talented and going to the Sharks is a great move for both parties. He is not SBW but he is a great contributor and certainly not a fill in. Like I said he will be very reliable while offering you both good attacking and defensive read/plays. Type of player who wont win alot of flash man of the match awards but will get voted players player of the day often.

But if you were putting a bet down on the wingers, I would put Mills and Williams ahead of Stapo at this point in time.

Yep I can't understand how BTR can say it is settled when it has been a major weakness for us for the past few years. A weak back line is always far from being settled.

The only two positions in the back line which you can class as settled at this stage would be Gardner at Fullback and Carney at 5/8.

The only other player who would have strong claims to having a spot guaranteed is Colin Best at Centre.

For the rest of them stake your claim!
