 You were doing so well agreeing with me and all, then you had to say this!

Then you say this. Couldn't agree more. I'll call this post a draw.

i was only taking the p!ss :D

I respect ac/dc and what they have but I am no fan of their music whatsoever.

FNM on the other hand, I would have Patton's babies if he would let me

Fairy nuff. I would rather you didn't go to AC-DC than be one of these people who only know two of their songs but get tickets to their show in place of hardcore fans like myself who go looking for un-released tracks (like 'On the Borderline').

Funny thing though, is that watching FNM I was thinking how much I would love to see Mike appear on stage with AC-DC and fill in for one of their songs. I reckon he could belt out a kickarse version of 'Night Prowler' or 'Big Balls'.

Nope. Ritual de lo Habitual and Nothing's Shocking were two of the greatest albums ever recorded.

Perry Farrell is a bore to watch and listen to, the fact that he's creepy as hell doesn't help his cause either. I'll admit I've liked some of their songs in the past, but they were woeful live, the self-flagellation was vomit worthy. Anthrax should have played main stage in Janes Addictions slot.

I found Jimmy Eat World who played after them more interesting, and that's saying something hah

Well I haven't seen them live so I can't comment, just saying that they are responsible for two truly amazing albums.

I thought Jane's Addiction were great at Brisbane Soundwave and Perry was very entertaining.

Jimmy Eat World were boring to me, it made the wait between Jane's Addiction and Faith No More excruciating.

You're an AC/DC elitist too?

i'm not sure that "elitist" and "AC/DC" should ever appear in the same sentence, but i certainly get where you're coming from. lol.

Elitist would be the wrong word to use. More somebody who really likes the music and loves finding rare songs from AC-DC/ hearing songs of theirs for the first time as opposed to people who say they like AC-DC because it's the "cool" thing to do, despite only knowing about 2 of their songs.
