If there is a modicum of truth to this claim I will deadset bown down to this AJ merkin! Last time Rancid toured I was all primed to go and I had a car accident on the day.

If he pulls this off (apparently Tim is still whining like a bitch about Brodie and won't come back to Australia because of it) he'll have successfully got two of my 5 fav bands EVER to Australia after many years of sh*t luck. All he needs to do now is bring X and I'll have seen my top 5 live!

Unlike your "source" Nath I do actually have a friend who knows AJ (she met Mike Ness and got a guitar pick for me, bless). If she finds out anything and is allowed to tell me then she will! ;-)

What a dickhead, the guy has a massive ego for the lead singer of a band that has released more sh*t songs than good ones.

Seriously the least consistant band around, a pity because their good music is pretty good.

Yes, Tim might well start getting over his issues (just don't put Rancid on the same bill as QOTSA) soon and might be an egotistical prat but they still have Lars (who by all accounts is one of the nicest lads) and Matt (who I rate as the best punk bassist ever). In fact I'd rather see The Bastards or Devils Brigade ahead of Rancid.
