isnt it at the showground and surrounds rather than anz stadium, which i assume wont be part of the festival area at allANZ has those huge corridors behind it all in shade. So even the stands are offline there's plenty of space too cool.

Pretty sure ANZ is being used for Stage 1.
Showgrounds is stage 2.
But never had an issue with water or heat at the last 2 soundwaves.
Cheers, found it on fasterlouder. Sux that Cypress Hill clash with Slayer but I'll be camped at stage 1 from either 4:30 or 5:30 (depending which of those 2 I decide to see).

Unfortunately Maynard has confirmed the next album will not be released this year.
Melbourne timetable is up https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/858196_10151668848972262_1561697254_o.jpg
This is probably what my day will look like
Hopefully 45 minutes will be enough time to find a place somewhere on the grass for Metallica, who knows though people will be camping out all day. Might just go from Blink to Metallica depending on how crowded it's getting. Sucks that they're clashing with The Offspring, should've grabbed a sideshow ticket before they sold out. Doubt I'd be able to get out of the Metallica crowd to catch the last 15 minutes but I'll give it a shot.
Good to see FLogging Molly get one of the main stages rather than just getting pigeonholed with the "punk" bands. Those metalheads won't know what him em when Dave King & Co. start ripping shit up!
I heard the interview on Triple J and I thought he said it was being released in conjunction with the April tour.
Tool will take time out from recording their fifth studio album to make the trip Down Under. The new album now has a 2014 expected release day after Keenan recently ruled out the album would be released this year.

No Travis Barker for Blink.... Just made my decision whether to catch Blink, or watch the first bit of Metallica
