Soundwave leaks two bands for 2013 lineup

I grew up with Blink and Offspring, and only just got into Metallica in the past few years. My dilemma was do I relive my early high school days with Blink/Offspring or See Metallica.

Easy decision now.

I have seen Metallica 6 times. They will comeback on their next album tour
I doubt blink will ever comeback again. So it's a hard choice but that's why I choose Blink.

As for no Travis. It sucks but my fav Blink album is Dude ranch and no Travis so I am sure I will survive. Besides Brooks is a good drummer

Metallica is one of those bands who'll be touring into their 70s (and will be unlikely to start sucking for at least another decade) while Blink will be unlikely to ever come to Australia again... so yeah the choice is pretty easy for me.

Now if I could go to the Blink sideshow then the choice would be different

Anthrax guitarist Rob quit the band a bit after the line up was announced and they replaced him but now drummer has pulled out with Slayer's drummer filling in

I wouldn't call Jon Dette 'slayers drummer' mate, I think he did an album with them in 1996 (undisputed attitude) but got fired soon after for not getting on with the other guys.

Yeah, I didn't think he would. I've seen the Vandals 5 times and he has never played with them.
