Really really mediocre so far. I guess they'll still charge $160 and people will still pay it to see 1 or 2 bands. Remaining slightly hopeful it gets better.

well considering the 1st 20 or so bands leaked for SW11 were of the same calibre i have hopes this will be better

The first 20 bands for SW were way better. Wasn't Protest The Hero like the 3rd or 4th band announced? I would have paid $300 for a ticket just based on that.

For me I like a few of the bands but I'm hoping the headliners r going to justify the price that is bound to be 130 - 160

Well Foo Fighters, Offspring & RHCP have albums coming out. All 3 doing festivals overseas and aren't booked in anywhere after August. Any of the 3 would justify the price for me

yeah headline acts that have been rumored for it are like Weezer, Foo Fighters, Motley Crue etc id expect a couple from sw11 on the bill too that have said they will be back this year like stone sour. and the fact sum 41 were announced coz of derryk being sick for most of the tour, it would make sense seeing slayer on the bill....unless they have shows then...i havnt checked tbh

Most bands only announced til August so we can hope they are considering it.

its 6 stages so id say thats highly likely (scene bands)

seems like its going to be a big festival again though.

and pennywise...Pulley would be an amazing announcement as would Ignite (both plausible)

apparently on faster louder an article on Bad Religion was written and Brooks Wackerman said theyre coming to aus this year but arnt allowed to reveal what for...and the way the bands r leaking their announcements themselves i dare say BR will be on the bill
