Big call to retire when ya only 23 but f**k, he should be out for 4 weeks if he's had that many concussions.
6th concussion in 18 months, play 5 days later. I don't see a problem here?
He cannot play. This year.
A candidate for second impact syndrome if there ever was one. If he suffered SIS souths and the nrl would suffer financially ( massively ) and the PR fallout would be immensely damaging.
When souths submitted that team, someone from the nrl should have rung them and yelled at them for an hr or so and then get them to change the team.
If he plays there is a decent chance of something horrific happening.

But if he doesn't play, someone like Ben Lowe has to come onto the bench. So you know....
Wrong, even though that's not important in this topic.
It will be Clark, Brown or Carter.
Equally bad nuffies.
I'd wager its quite important to souths to keep them out of the side as well given the experimental surgery they got for Turner just to get him back on the field earlier, on top of rushing him back from a clear concussion without any time off and backing up on a short turnaround.
Its actually 7. He had 6 last season alone and then another one now in his return game.
7 concussions in only 25 games of footy. Clearly there is something that needs to be addressed given how often he brains himself.

Are you counting the all stars game concussion? Gallen concussed him and stuffed his neck up right? I can't remember because the all stars game is so insignificant.
I'm waiting to see how Liam Fulton turns out. Hopefully he isn't a dribbling wreck by 50. Perhaps he should have a sit down with Turner and paint it in real terms to him. Being a pup and only just starting his career I can understand his reluctance to want to give it away.
