Souths Game

I know its early and we really haven't got over the thrashing the Roosters dealt out yesterday, but I really would like Price or his replacement to make some big changes to the selections for the game against Souths. My team would be:

Dugan
Morris
Raciman
Cooper/Quinlan - he is fast and is not afraid to defend and has a good step.
King - in my opinion is the best five-eighth we have available in the Club.
Siejka - time to experiment and had some speed and youth to the halves

Merrin - the team needs Merrin back at prop.
Rein
Stockwell
Creagh
Frizell
Harrison

Bench
Fien - back up for hooker, half or five-eighth. He needs to play less minutes.
Weyman
Vidot - impact player as a back row forward or centre
De Bellin

Yes I know it is a lot of change but really, I think it is the best we can do right now with what we have. King and Harrison are back from injury. If Cooper is fit then obviously Quinlan returns to the Cutters.

Prior, Stanley, Green, Ah Mau all need to make way.

Doesn't matter what 17 we put out, we're gonna get smashed.

I'd go with Fire's side but switch Merrin and De Belin.

**EDIT**

Coops and Moz on the left edge and Runciman and Flo on the right.

Im over picking sides ahead of time, Price never comes to the party, he has his own ideas.

It will be interesting to see if he does change anything this time though, he knows he is literally out of a job, so does he have anything to gain my throwing caution to the wind? I think not, he could persist with Chase and hope to show Doust that he was right all along (unlikely against Souths and with motivation in the toilet), or make 1 change in Harry to #6, Chase to #3 and see if he can turn things around with a little 'out of the box' pricey coaching magic... thats the only possible change and its about the right timing for a price move (i.e. 6 weeks to late).

If the Sea Eagles can handle the Eels tomorrow we will be 4 points clear after the bye next week. The Panthers look good for it to get the points against the Eels but they are not the most consistent of teams. With Steve Price as coach we will hardly score another point all year and I mean that with no cynicism. We do have a markedly better differential than Parra as it stands based on our defence holding together better than theirs - believe it or not.

It may well come down to week 25 I am thinking.
