Definitely not a half, but he has potential to be a decent ballplaying lock. Something the dragons seem to lack in their forwards.

They would have picked him up for chump change. Could turn out to be a worthwhile punt.

Good depth signing in my opinion. Unlikely to shaft anyone in the current 17 out but if injuries hit, especially in the halves, I'd rather Rogers come in then move rangi out of hooker where hes playing good footy. Kennedy's are too young and Woolford will/should not see the light of 1st grade again; even if it means Rogers getting a run ahead of him.

Rogers does some good things but tries to do too much and consistently takes the wrong option, his defence is solid and has a decent kicking game but Souths don't need him. He was told 6 weeks ago that he was not in our future and he found a club so we released him as Wing or Sutton will be played at 5/8 for the rest of the year. i mean if he can't get a nod ahead of Dean Widders than he is out of favour...and he shouldn't have spoken out againt the club. Good luck though- hope he goes well except against Souths of course.
