I say no, although perrenial losers is a bit harsh! haha. I think they have performed at a high standard to win tonight but the run of the Rabbits is the hardest of all teams fighting for a spot in the 8. They can't keep it up.

even without Asotasi out they would need to win atleast 3 of their 4 remaining game and I dont know if they can get pass Titans, Panthers or dragons. I think they are in rich form atm but their run home is difficult.
They may very well make it thou, the Rabbits could beat the titans sharks and Penrith to make a late surge and it isnt beyond them

if they dont make it, it wont be because Asotasi is out.

He has been far from influential in their return to form, with plenty of other players leading the way IMO.

I'd say its 50-50 at the moment. If they can beat the titans next week, they will be going into the penrith game pretty much knowing that a win there should get them into the 8.

regardless of how it turns out this last month of footy is going to be huge!

As Danish said, there is plenty of Footy to come in the next month.

We are 1 win out of 5th place.

We are not world beaters, that is for certain, but neither are the Titans (away from home), Penrith or Cronulla.

The equation is simple, we win those three games and we make it, if we don't we are gone.

Well I'm not sure about that Danish. Tue Roy hasn't been in great form most of the year but the past 5 or 6 weeks when he has stepped it up a notch we have played a hell of alot better.

I'm just wondering who our captain will be? Sutton was vice captain a few years ago but we then went to co-captain with Kidwell and then Kidwell got dumped from that for drinking. We have Wing and Crocker are leaders but boith are on the bench. I'd say Sutton will be our captain. :?

Luke Stuart or Sutton will be captain.

I'd say as good a forward as Asotasi is, his form this season hasn't been spectacular and he's probably 5th in the team in terms of importance (Sutton, Luke, Merritt, Wing all more so)

We should be able to win 3 of our last 4 and make the finals. I don't think my brain could handle a win over the Dragons though.

lol at souths fans thinking they can win 3 out of last 4

Lets see...

We've won 4 of our last 5, and the one we lost was very tight.

Out of the four teams we still have to play, we've already beaten 2 of them this year, lost narrowly to one of the others (who aren't strong in Sydney, which is where we play them next week) and nobody is expecting us to beat the Dragons.

Oh and we just beat Manly at Brookvale and Brisbane at Suncorp.

But yeah you're right, no shot.

(this is not me suggesting we will win anymore games or make the finals, but to write us off is foolish)
